Unity

Unity resembles the need for rest. When the world is screaming, hurting, fighting, and we continue busy our minds with distractions to be productive because here is where we feel important. We run to hide our insecurities. We run to hide hurt from our past. We fill it with distractions, good distractions to trick ourselves. We run because we want everyone to know that we are enough. Because we want to make others proud. "I run because people didn't clap when I just walked in." We are afraid that if we slow down, we may actually see how hurt we really are. That we don't have it all together. That we are pretty broken. That there is pain we are working through. That if we just run fast and long enough you won't be able to tell. Running is not trusting God. Commit to walking with others and commit to walking with God. Despite what the world is screaming at you. You don't have to be the best or have it all together. You will work into purpose and blessings and everything God has for you if you commit to walking. Walk in victory. Allow every bit of control, fear, and mess turn into something beautiful. That's what God does when we allow him to paint our story.

This piece represents the need to rest. Perhaps a daily battle for most of us. The importance of accepting that love and rest from the Lord. It's a quiet reminder to stop trying to prove to people that you are enough and allow God to be enough. You can have peace and you can walk in victory because greater is he that is in me than he who is in the world. 1John 4:4
